Bigfoot Trailer 1981 17 foot gaucho model for sale
Bigfoot Trailer 1981 17 foot gaucho model
Newer additions and renos are: solar panel, battery, hot water tank, flooring, countertop and tabletop, upholstery, curtains.
Has original 3-way frig, 4 burner stove and oven, 3 piece bath which includes shower and furnace.
Weighs under 2000 lbs and everything works very well.
The awning works but it should be replaced.
The tires will need replacing soon.
The trailer has a small leak in the roof which caused some water damage to the ceiling. A local RV dealership said they could repair everything in less than a day but at shop rates of over $100/hour it is not worth us paying them. They suggested that anyone that is handy could do the work. That is certainly not us but if you are able, this will be a great deal. We would like $5000 firm and we do feel is it well worth it.
I am going to try and post pics in the next few days.
Thanks! Pat and Jim

Looking for a Bigfoot in Parksville
We have just aquired our first fiberglass trailer this fall. We love our '79 Trillium 1300.. BUT ..one of us would really like a toilet etc. We saw a rebuilt Bigfoot in Vernon and fell in love.
Please give us a call if yours is still available.
Thanks,
Ray & Judy in Parksville (250) 248 4353

Photos of 1981 17 foot Bigfoot Trailer
I have - finally - figured out how to load my trailer pics onto the site. (Originally, there were too many pixels and wouldn't load) We tried to take photos from different angles and to include a picture of the ceiling damage. I have more photos but have reached the maximum allowed for the site. Let me know if you would like me to email you additional photos.
Thanks!
Pat and Jim

Update on our Bigfoot Trailer
Update on our trailer - some repairs done
A friend, who is a handyman-type of guy, checked out the roof on our trailer. He couldn't find any cracks in the fiberglass but he said that the caulking around the bathroom vent was in bad shape. He re-caulked that and also added extra caulking around the toilet venting.
Thanks!
Pat and Jim
