Casita 17' Spirit Deluxe Travel Trailer-Atlanta

17’ Spirit Deluxe Casita Travel Trailer
$12,900

Purchased new in 2004. We are the original owners and are located in the northeastern suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. Casitas have a strong fiberglass shell and are extremely durable, aerodynamic, and very easy to tow. Loaded weight is about 2,800 pounds. Loaded hitch weight depends on weight distribution but should be at least 10% of trailer weight. This is light enough to tow with some mini-vans (check your vehicle’s owner’s guide for recommended tow weights).

This is a great camper -- perfect for two people. The only reason we are selling it is to get a larger trailer so that we can bring our grandsons camping with us.

We have kept this Casita in the garage on jack stands, and maintained it religiously (washed/waxed after every trip, lubed & repacked bearings twice etc). This is a no-pet and no-smoking trailer. It is spotless.

The company has a website which shows the floor plans of their models and describes how they are outfitted. Casita Travel Trailers - Our Showroom | Spirit | Exterior
Layout and equipment list has not changed significantly from our trailer.

Standard features include a double bed, full bathroom with shower and hot water, two burner range, refrigerator and freezer, galley sink, and a two person dinette. The dinette may be made into a bed. The double bed may also be made into a four person dinette.

This Casita has the following extras:
Awning with recently replaced vinyl, (the old one was damaged in a hail storm in Yellowstone)
Air conditioning with heat strip
New thermostat
Maxx-air vent covers over the Fantastic Fan and a rear side window for ventilation during heavy rain storms
Three-way refrigerator (110v, propane, and 12v)
Two-way hot water heater (110v and propane)
New propane monitor
One year old battery, size 27
High-lift, easy lube axle
Durable ten-ply 15” tires and spare tire
Anti-sway bar
Television antenna and amplifier, television shelf and cable ready (no TV)
Covers for range and sink for more counter space

We made several modifications to make it even more usable.
Solar panel with controller and heavy duty 20’ cable that is wired to battery with convenient quick disconnects. The solar panel keeps the battery charged for camping in parks without electric hook-ups.
Receiver hitch (2”) under the rear bumper for bike rack. Once at camping destination, the rack can be moved to the tow vehicle
Custom built shelf over the dinette to hold your cell phones, keys, remotes, etc.
Extra storage on closet door
Storage drawer under dinette for pens, pencils, note pads, etc.
Portable clothes line which attaches to rear bumper
Extra 110 outlet at eye level on wardrobe wall
LED lights in many locations
Cutting board insert for sink
Curtains for dining area of vintage RV fabric

Bill & Sally,

My husband and I just bought a GMC truck for camping; now we're looking for a light-weight trailer. After the snow / ice melts, and I return from SF next week, we'd love to check out your Casita if it's still available. We live in Kennesaw. Thanks, Nancy

Our trailer has sold and is gone. Thanks for your interest. I am trying to figure out how to eliminate the thread.
