Text, eBay link as follows:

"Buy It Now" Price $500

Cute Scamp trailer that has been in an accident. Fiberglass damage. As far as we know everything works. New batteries, decent tires, toilet, table that folds down into a bed, 2 burner stove, small fridge, sink.

It IS in towable condition but door will not close. Needs to be bungeed.

Would make a nice playhouse for kids or a cheap hunting trailer.

This is in South Fork, Colorado, by the way.

"Buy it now" is gone, but bidding is at $150 with 6+ days to go.

Definitely good only for parts. We had a lot less damage htan that on our Casita from the tree (see Crack Egg) and the repair bill is just shy of $10k. If it was not a 2009, I am sure they would have totaled it. Still waiting to get it back.

Or it could work for someone who has a lot more time than money, or who just likes to fix things. That is, it is repairable, but it would not make sense to hire it out (or to do it yourself in order to "save money" if you have the money to buy a different one).

... someone like me (my other post is http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/in...howtopic=37932 ), but alas, it is so far away. I have had two replies about damaged trailers, but the closest was 1,600 miles round trip. Colorado would be 2,000 plus.

The corner looks repairable; might partially pop out, although it would still need re-enforcing, filling and cosmetics. Pulling and keeping the top back in alignment could be a challenge. I'm sure it could be done. I wouldn't be too bothered if I had to have bracing visible on the inside.
