First let me explain the model designation "C". This trailer was custom built at the factory and is a hybrid between an A and a B. that factor and a long list of other changes resulted in the new model designation, though you will not find it listed as it may have been the only one they built. The floor plan is just like the B but instead of the bathroom I elected to have more storage. There is a Porta-potti in a dedicated storage area but no commode or shower. The area that normally is the bathroom is now all storage with plenty of cabinets and drawers. Also contains the A/C and
microwave. This trailer was my home for four years and storage was more needed than a tiny bathroom that is too cramped to be practical or comfortable. The pp and campground facilities served my needs very well. This choice was also dictated by my wanting to build a very simple and easy maintenance trailer. I consider the commode, black water holding tank and all the associated plumbing to be a PITA. Another reason was I wanted maximum ground clearance and that plumbing was way too low. So if you really feel you need a full bath in a tiny trailer keep on looking.
This trailer was delivered to me in Feb 2008. It basically has just about every option
Escape offered at that time, but of course no bath. I had
Escape add a XL two-way
fridge,
microwave, hi-lift
axle, air conditioner, Fantastic fan with T-stat and cover, more 12v and AC outlets, TV antenna, cable ready, bike rack hitch, three exterior hatches, hitch wheel, removable power cord, stainless sink, stove cover, and stereo. Total cost to build this trailer today would be $23,620.
In addition to the factory options I had many additions installed such as locking tongue box with aluminum tread plate cover, 30" Cooper A/T
tires on 7x15 aluminum rims (3), swing down TV mount (no TV), oak book shelves, 750 watt inverter, steel hoop on rear for protection and tire mount with steel ladder to reach roof for cleaning, above bed fan and
LED lights in & out.
Trailer is currently winterized, stored under cover and waiting for a new home. It is in great shape and ready to go camping. Over $26,000 invested but now asking $16,500. For best response email to acebrown at VCI dot net.
