For all you who want an AWNING, here's the poles!

My awning uses these poles, the most difficult part of any awning to find.
There's an auction at ebay from a fellow who has 35 of them. They are reasonable at $12.00 each.

BTW, I asked my upholstery woman if she would be game to make these. She said yes to the idea and I know she would be very reasonably priced. In fact, she said she would charge $200 to make a set of cushion covers! She's a deal, alright!

I've had good luck with painter poles. They're available in mosr good hardware stores in various lengths.

Dan, are you writing about the extenders one may buy that telescope? As I recall, the end has threads, no? Do you put something on the end?

Sounds like it has merit, I'd love to see a picture.
