Hi folks, some have followed my adventures with my new burrito. Hubby says it's too small for us to fulltime for a year. If I want him to fulltime, he wants something bigger. I'm hoping to write a book on vanishing wilderness, so...and have been taking notes during tent camping.
I almost feel like my burrito has a personality, like a little puppy, and I feel kind of guilty. We cleaned it up, as it had dog and cat hairs, I cleaned the weatherstripping with stuff recommended on here, and spic and spanned the whole interior. The sort of amazing thing about the burrito is that because it was stored under cover in western colorado most of its life and not used a lot, it's really quite intact. Even the cushions don't look used. The one thing I haven't done yet is fix the chipped thing on the front, that has to do with the
propane heater, but maybe the next person can do that. I was advised to replace with a circular $4
electrical outlet cover if I didn't like the chip.
I will post the photos later today, but if you want to see on my long thread, it's on page 5:

Meanwhile, can someone tell me what they feel about selling on ebay? I have never ever
sold anything on ebay. If I were to do an ebay auction, how do I reserve the right to sell to someone off ebay (like on the forum here, or the other
fiberglass forum) or locally? Can I establish rules for my auction where I do get to sell locally? Or do I have to make a buy it now price for that? If anyone has any assist for me, please let me know. I'm a little nervous about ebay but I do know it widens exposure and people have been very happy with the response.
I have to say the thing I like most about the
burro, for my particular taste, is the double walled construction. Those
fiberglass walls inside are so clean and smooth. I do not really like the carpet on the
casita walls. Also, I went into a spirit deluxe last weekend at the park we were at, and the ceiling seemed really low. It was 17 foot so the ceiling was 6 1.5. Lower than my
burro.
Anyway, any advice from experienced folks on selling would be appreciated. Thanks! Pictures to post later this afternoon.
