I prefer a smaller tank and would rather just swap than buy another one. Any one up for this kind of trade?

Thumbs up

What size tank do you have now? What size do you want to end up with?

An empty tank on our Scamp weighs right at 18 Lbs and the government has put strict restraints on shipping and/or mailing things with flammable gas inside so in order to trade you would have to find someone within close proximity to where you live or it would be to costly.

Look at Camping World to see if they have a smaller tank or try a camping dealer to see if they would make you a deal on your present tank.

well lets see its big tank size right now yeah big by yeah big....and I want smaller or smallerish..... its the size of a backyard BBQ size one and I want something smaller but not the size of a itty bitty propane tank...just thought a trade would be nice instead of being a massive consumer and buying yet another something to pollute the world....

backyard BBQ size

Yes, it weighs 18 pounds empty. I have 3 that weigh 18 lb and 1 at 18.2 lb (All Empty)

You might B able to make a trade at a camping supply place or call your propane suppler.

I just switched my old propane tanks with the old fittings for new /re conditioned 20 lb tanks along with a full tank of gas at Walmart for about $17.00 plus change. No problem.Hope this helps your problem and that I got to you in time.
