This one just adds more pieces of the history puzzle. There seem to have been several attempts to clone the Boler. The resemblance is uncanny. One of the manufactures must have sold shells to custom build. Either that or there were several molds.

I've heard of the Land and Sea... thought we had an album with pictures hummmmmm. It does look like a Scamp (or other egg shaped trailer!)
I knew it, just had to poke around on the ole hard drive a bit. Probably no one really cares at this point, but at least we have the pictures for the albums....

Nice work Donna! I love the name "El Macho."
Mystery solved.....
If you've seen it twice recently it isn't a surprise. The lady currently listing it lives in the Santa Cruz mountains on some property with a fairly large lot. She had a half dozen or so small trailers (pop ups mostly). Her daughter said she buys, "restores" and sells them. They only had that one a month or so.
I wasn't looking for differences but the shell shape and interior were the same. The bunk supports, bumper, windows, cabinet doors and hardware were different from our 76 scamp.
I like the el macho trailer I have a 1981. Have made some changes to it and use it a lot.
