Trailer: Scamp

We have decided to sell our 1999 13 ft Scamp. We bought it a couple years ago and only seem to use it about once a year. It sleeps three and looks like at one time had the bunk bed, but was removed before we got it. It does not have a bathroom or heat, but does have a stove and sink with water tank. It is clean and in good shape. The only damage is under the bed there is a soft spot a couple inches wide along the very back of the wall. It is under the linoleum and carpet and was there when we got it. We are located in SE Iowa and are asking $5000.

Going to pull this off the market for now. We have contacted the Scamp factory and are going to be taking it up for service. We are going to have the soft spot in the floor repaired and are debating some additional features. Might just decide to keep it after we are done.

Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris,

If you decide to put your trailer up for sale in the future, be sure to list it as a [b]16' Scamp!

Best wishes,
Jeanne

Thanks Jeanne! I did make a mistake. We just call the Scamp factory today and gave them the VIN number and the verified that yes it is a 16 footer. We were told when we bought it that it was a 13 footer. I always wonder if that was right. It does have the 2" ball and electric brakes that are standard on the 16 footer and the extra windows. Thanks!!
Chris

Well, it's not really wrong to call it a 13 footer... as long as you say that's the INSIDE measurement
