SOLD: 1973 Play Pac
Rare Find!!
1973 Play Pac fiberglass camper in good structural condition. No leaks, cracks or repairs to outer shell.
Currently roadworthy.
Inside: Skylight, sleeps two (cushions need covers), original table and ice box, porta-potty, propane stove top and aluminum sink. Could use some TLC replacing original wallpaper (coming off in corner, just old).
Fairly new tires, air conditioner. Previous owner replaced floor and refinished cabinets.
Wired for 15 amp. Easy to tow and set up. 1,000 lbs. 13-feet from hitch to bumper. No water storage or dump tanks.
Currently parked in Panama City waiting for someone to take her home. Shoulder injury prevents me from doing what I want to do.
Previous owner rebuilt flooring and refinished cabinets.
Asking $3,800, but will consider any serious offers.
Just a little history about the PlayPac These trailers were only built between 1971-1973 in the Eastern U. S. before production ceased from what I've been able to learn. There are only about a dozen left. The PlayPac concept was commissioned by Steve Whysel, the PlayPac "Hitch Hut" was intended to be light enough to be towed by a VW Beetle.
