SOLD: 1974 compact ii- totally rebuilt

Reluctantly our friend is offering up his 1974 14' Compact II for sale. He completely rebuilt it to pull behind his hot rod. Trailer has been professionally painted with new pop top fabric professionally made with the Chevy emblem design in it as seen in the pictures. Tongue has been extended to create a storage area and spare tire mount. Extending the tongue makes trailer tow better and back up easier. New rectangular rear steel bumper and 4 drop down jacks were added at each corner. A Dexter easy lube axle, new springs and shackles were also added. The floor has been replaced with 3/4" plywood with 2 coats of resin on the bottom. 2 exterior hatches were added to allow easy access to under seat area from outside. A black and white check vinyl flooring with black and white check curtains also installed. Cushions were professionally re upholstered in a grey tweed. Bed measures 59" X 74" and with the top popped up there is 6' 3" of headroom. Overall length is 14' 3" width is 79" and the last time I weighed it loaded for camping it was 1900#. 12 volt wiring was replaced and the 110 volt wiring was run from the new 30 amp panel throughout the trailer in pvc conduit. I created oak cabinets with plenty of storage including pull out drawers. Trailer comes with microwave a 3 burner wedgewood propane stove, a ice box and a port a potty that's never been used. I'm also including a 10 X 10 First up ( popup), with side curtains and side screens. A small table that attaches to the side of trailer and a small dining table that matches oak and formica also go with trailer. New tires as of April 2018. I have original Compact II sales brochure and I had 3 placemats created out of copies of the brochure. The trailer comes with a used but serviceable soft cover and this trailer had always been stored under cover with cover on. I just hate to see this just sit so I'm hoping the new buyer loves it like we did and drives the wheels off of it having one great adventure after another. I'm asking $9,999.00 OBO US cash funds only. No trades or wires- must inspect and pick up in person.
This unit is all ready to go for your traveling adventures and will fit in most garages. We are selling it because we moved up to a bit larger trailer to continue our traveling in. Clean Washington state title in my name. It even has a working doorbell. Her name is the " Granny Clampett" and she has served us well.
NOTE: I am posting this for a friend who needs some help getting it listed. If you have any questions or are interested please send your contact number and I will have him call you. Thank-you! (THE HOT ROD IN PICTURES IS NOT INCLUDED- PRICE IS JUST FOR TRAILER) ( Working on posting pictures until then serious buyers please request pictures to be emailed.)

Wow! Beautiful Compact II. I started renovating one a few years ago and that is what I hoped it would look like when done. I gave up and sold it as a project. It looks like a good deal for someone.
