Too far away for me to even consider, but just out of curiosity's sake, how does a Hunter II differ from a Campster?
Thanks!

Well, just on the outside, the Campster looks more to me like it has the Compact Jr. basic square shape, but with a "jut" in the bottom half of the molding to make the bed(s) wider. The Hunter II has a different body shape; a bit less square and more "angular modern." See how the top slopes out as it makes its way toward the seam, and the windows have the Greyhound bus look? I think they may have tended to have more luxuries aboard as well.
Here's a Campster photo for comparison:

As a Compact II owner, I see a LOT of similarities between my rig and this Hunter II.
Like:
1. I see the exterior battery door on this trailer, and mine has that too.
2. I see the exterior grills for a refrigerator in the same place as mine.
3. The overall shape looks the same as my trailer.
With only the two pics and no thorough list of amenities, it's tough to say what else is the same or different though... BUT, if someone is in that area, and looking for a decent little trailer, for that price I would DEFINITELY check it out! I paid twice for mine several years ago!
Happy Trailer Hunting!

The Compact II and the Hunter II do look like clones.

Hello Gang,
I bought this one today!
Thanks to all who educated me about the Compacts/Hunters and their relatives.
I noticed this listing early Friday am and finally spoke to the owner today at noon. Got the proper hitch gear together and drove 2hrs each way to get it.
BTW, our 4cyl. '99 Camry did fine towing it home. The long search is over! I will post 'before' photos soon.

You can see closeup a major difference from the Campster, that the back end is slanted up and down except for the door. In the Campster, both door and back walls are straight.

Francene, it appears you're trying to upload Print Quality pictures, the file size is really big.... like 5 times the size we'd prefer. See if reducing the file size helps.
Here's a tutorial, just remember to NOT save the pictures with the same name... as I'm sure you'll want to keep those print quality pics: Resize Picture Help
BTW: We'd love to meet you and your new trailer at the 2009 Washington State Get Together!!

Hi Fran,
After you use the Browse button to select the file, and Upload to copy the file to your area, then you have to use "Manage Current Attachments" to actually "place" or insert the pictures into your message. I typically use the lefthand-most icon (with the green plus) to place the image at the current text cursor postion. Remember you have to do this for each and every attachment! In other words, if you uploaded 5 files, you have to use "Manage Current Attachments" 5 times to select each file in turn and insert it into your message.
Congratulations on your purchase -- for me it would have been about a 20 hour drive each way and I knew the trailer would be gone before I even got there!
