SOLD 1981 bigfoot 17'

1981 bigfoot for sale

This bigfoot is in good shape. Most of the interior is origonal other then a bit of paint which was done by the previous owner. It has 2 30lb propane tanks and dual deep cycle battery.
All appliances work great, 3way fridge, furnace, 4 burner stove with oven, forced air furnace, toilet. This is a nice unit which I wouldnt be selling accept for the fact I found a bigger model that suits my needs a little more. This model never came with a hot water tank or shower but for some it may not be a big deal. Awning is older but does have life left in it. I am asking 6000 obo. Feel free to send me a email if you may be interested. I am located in nanaimo on vancouver island.

I am interested in your trailer but am afraid it may be too heavy for my VE Golf to tow. Do you know the dry weight? I also live in Nanaimo.

It's a four cylinder and I only have a class 1 hitch so it's too heavy. I'm looking for something with a dry weight between 1000 and 1500 lbs max. Probably a boler or trillium.
Thanks for responding!

Yes it's a TDI but class 1 hitch is only rated for 2000 lbs max.

1981 bigfoot 17'

What are the dimensions of the main bed? Mostly the width. Can you check with a measuring tape plz? We have a Boler & struggle to stretch out. Not surprising considering we sleep on a king at home.
Also what is the listed GVW?
Thx

The early 1500 series has 3 beds. The front bed is 44" x 80", the gaucho bed is 46" x 78" and the bunk is 35" x 76" (but very near the ceiling).
