Ok, since I haven't heard from Toby (who wanted to buy it) I am gonna put it back up For Sale. I feel bad since I promised it to him, and most of the delay of him being able to pick it up, was my being gone. But I have pm'd him several times as well as emailed. He hasn't responded, so it back up for sale. If your interested it's a 1985 16 ft with a bath. I bought in Glenwood Springs Colorado in June. $2000 is what I paid for it, so thats what I want. I did put new tires on before I left Glenwood and have pulled out the carpet on the floor, I have stick tile to replace which you can have as well as some parts that I ordered from Casita that came after I bought the 2007 and took off on our trip. This is a SUPER buy for some one. If I lived closer I would buy it. Most 13' go for more than this.

Robin

I passed the information on to some folks here in the local area who are interested in a small camper. Maybe we can get this thing sold so you won't be accused of hoarding eggs.

PS - Don't forget the fuses on your new Casita.

Orlen, I bought them yesterday Thanks so much for your help with that issue, I wish you had time to do a remodel with me on this....... I just love the older ones restored. I keep going back and forth with this one, it's like I have a dream for it but just know it would be too much for Rod to take on. So I guess I will sell it. Hope you guys had a nice trip home. Robin.

LOL.... Mark! There are actually a couple of people who are emailing me about it. But like you they live a billion miles away. Someone local is coming to see friday if it's still around. You never know where it might end up. Robin

Mark I don't know how long you have been exploring this forum. But the addiction grow's...... It get's even worse when you actually get one (or two) I have probabaly had 10 calls and 20 email's or pm's about the 85. And I am actually sad that it might sell............... Weird I know! Thank goodness most everyone is several states away, to give me time to prepare myself. I don't get it! I am attached to a darn little trailer. Even Dh said today after we gave it a quick wash, gee maybe we should keep it. LOL........ Robin

robin, have been lurking on this site for a few months , but joined last month

the reason i found this site is " the plan"

the "plan" was , when i retire in 6 years at age 56 take two years and drive from maine to alaska in a pickup towing an airstream , BUT doing some research THE PLAN has changed, same trip differnt type of camper , now i want to egg it from maine to alaska

Well the Casita sold tonight. I am holding a deposit, until the new owner gets back from vacation. He would have taken tonight but it was really dark and no current plates. They leave on vacation tomorrow. So I will hold it for him. Wanted to Thank everyone for your interest. He had actually been one of the people who had called me originally when I put it up for sale and had been searching for a year or so for one. So it's nice to know it's going to someone who has a fiberglass interest versus just because it's small and cheap interest. Robin
