We have decided to sell our 84-85 CT13. Things change, life goes in different directions and it turns out we just don’t have the time to use the camper as much as we had hoped. So it is time to pass this vintage gem to someone who has been waiting for an opportunity to purchase a U-Haul. It is the perfect time to buy! You can spend the rest of the colder months personalizing the interior and have it ready to roll just in time for the spring and summer season.
The U-Haul was in near original condition when we purchased it 2 years ago. At that time we:
- put new tires on including a spare
- installed a new battery
- set up a permanent bed in the back with a 3” memory foam mattress on top of the cushions all zipped into a plastic mattress protector to keep everything in place. All of the cushions are original and in excellent condition.
In preparation to update and personalize the interior we:
- removed the headliner and the vinyl flooring
- removed the gas cooktop and range hood
- removed the furnace
We did keep all of these items in case someone wants to replace them. The solar panel is still in place but we have never tested it. Sink and pump are still there as well but we never used it either. There is no porta potty. And there is no fridge. We never noticed any leaks.
The camper could use a good cleaning on the outside but the inside is decent and ready for camping. We have a good title.
