Unfortunately, I have to sell my 1989
Scamp. I am located in NE Ohio. Since purchasing her last summer I have:
replaced the hookup to the car with a new seven prong and new wiring for it into the trailer
replaced the front jack
I replaced the cushion covers on the dinette cushions and replaced the cover on the bottom bunk in the front.
Scamp did not offer the exact color brown for the front cushion so the two browns are slightly different.
new
tires with less than 2,000 miles on them
new table, which is scratched
new power pack under the bunk in the front
new
LED lights on the rear sides (I was replacing them slowly as I could afford)
new shore power prong for 220
new
battery
new back window
hubcaps
replaced front curtain
axel was greased in the summer of 2017
fantastic fan installed
The cabinets were painted a lovely blue color when purchased, I put a mirror on the closet on the door side. The closet has three shelves inside. The water tank is still in the
Scamp, but I have never used it because it was too old (kinda grossed me out). There is a connection for water on the outside and the sink has two outlets for water, one for pumping and one that is like a kitchen or bathroom faucet. The stove worked on purchase, however, I have not used it as I prefer to cook outside. I don't believe anyone has ever used it, it looks brand new. We have been in many rain storms and spent a very rainy week near Acadia in ME and there was never a leak. There is a small space under the bunks for a porta potty. Also a small place under the closet for a
microwave or a small oven/toaster. I put a
microwave in there. It must be taken out and used outside. There is a
refrigerator that is a small dorm
refrigerator that works only on electricity. No air conditioner but the back window has screens so you could easily put one in. The fantastic fan was enough for us. It really is fantastic. I pulled the Scamp with a lavender hybrid Highlander and it was a perfect and economical combination. The Scamp is easy to pull and park. For heat we used a small ceramic tower fan heater and it worked great for 45 degree rainy nights in Maine in June. If you have any questions, please PM me. I am asking $5,900.00.
