NC | SOLD 1990 SCAMP 16 ft Standard Camper $6500

Sadly selling our 1990 Scamp 16-footer, but we have two teenagers and need more space! Camper is well taken care of and located in storage near Wilmington, NC.

Camper has a clear NC title (bonus!). The layout is the dining area with sofa/bunk layout that includes a (tiny but useable) full bath. Pretty awesome set-up.

This is a fiberglass construction camper that sleeps 4. Overall it is in good condition for a 1990 model that has been camped in, and it maintains most of its originality. If you are looking for a 25 year old camper that has not been "messed with" much, take a look at the 30+ photos at the link.

Camper is being sold as is where it is, but this is a beloved family camper so we've used it and can try our best to answer any questions you may have.

You might wish you kept your fine camper, as in a few short years the 'teenagers' likely will have grown up and will no longer be camping with you.

In my experience, camping with dad became uncool when my daughters were around 13 years old. But now that they are young women on their own, they love to camp and do it as often as they can.
The teens in the first post may be on this forum in the future, with fond memories of that old Scamp, and looking to find another. Or not.

Thankfully our kids love camping. And they LOVE the Scamp. I assure you, if we had the storage space and budget to keep this one while we temporarily expanded, we would do it. This was not an easy decision, but we've thought it through. It's time to let go. Maybe one day we can come back to a Scamp again. Best camper ever. Period.
