We plan to sell our 17' wide body 2000 Burro at or after the NOG (April 25-27.) The Burro is the "dance hall" version being very roomy and open. It has a large bed 54-84" in the back, with a cherry dining table in the front and a cherry stove cover to match. We have installed a high bar faucet for easier use and an electric water pump rather than the standard hand pump at the sink. We also have installed a 2 1/2 gal hot water heater and recently, installed new carpet (color Burnt Sugar) with a 3/8" carpet pad as well as new burgundy curtains on all windows. We also have a type 2 trailer hitch welded on the back frame so we can carry bikes. There is also a custom heavy-duty spare tire cover. On the front trailer mount we have added a white metal locking storage box. The box is a year old, waterproof and works wonderfully. Since we primarily use the trailer with electricity and cook outside with a propane stove or inside with a conduction plate, we have temporarily closed the propane stove connection; however, it is still intact if you prefer to use it. We have also installed an electric wall heater with a wall-mounted thermostat that is very efficient.

I have sewn new covers for the dining table seating area but the original covers are in excellent condition and are intact under the new covers. We have lots of storage since the trailer doesn't have a bathroom (we have a porta potty that fits under the bed when not in use).

We have installed two outside doors to allow separate access for the storage areas under the bed seating compartments. We also have installed two outside three prong outlets and a porch light. Additionally there are grounded outlets installed in the cabinet under the sink to accommodate the hot water heater, the refrigerator and the converter with one more outlet available.

Asking price is $8500.

The ventilation is good. There are two large windows in the front and back and smaller windows on each side above the bed. The door has a screen and there is an overhead Fantastic fan with reverse so you can choose which way to have the air flow.

Currently the set up is with only one large bed in the back. It would be possible to reconfigure the dining table area back to a gaucho. We also have the bunk bed frame that fits above the table although we have never used it. We are the second owners of this burro and since there are just two of us, this set up worked well for us.

What a spotlessly clean, fresh, and beautiful Burro! I saw Charlene & Dennis' rig this past weekend and was blown away by its spaciousness, and oh oh that big red bed in back... it's, well, it's LUXURIOUS!!!

Charlene you've done a beautiful job with everything.
Prospective buyers will truly appreciate this special camper.

Currently this trailer is configured to have a large bed set up all of the time. It will comfortable sleep 2 large adults with room at the foot of the bed for a pet if you have one. The dining table for two originally was set up to be converted to a gaucho with a bunk bed above it. We still have the cushions, table and bunk bed form if you chose to convert it back to that format. The bunk bed would only support a small child.

Since we travel with only two of us, we chose to have the bed and dinette always available to eliminate the need to reconfigure each day. It would be fairly simple to change the dining area so that it could be reconfigured from a dining area to a gaucho if that was important to you.

Feel free to send me a PM if you have more questions..

Charlene

This Burro is again on the market. The last deal fell through.

If you are one of the people who called but thought we had sold it, please check with us again if you are still interested.

Phil,

Thanks for the comment. I checked out your Casitas. They're pretty good looking too.

A small correction to the new owners' names. I hope that they enjoy this Burro as much as we did.

This is Kyle and Hannah, we purchased the 17' Burro from the Urso's. They couldn't have been nicer and made the whole process great. We made the trip home with her to the Bay Area, CA and have already planned our first trip this weekend to the Eastern Sierra's with her and our new puppy Ziggy.
Thanks so much for a great trailer, we are so excited to hit the road, she won't get much rest I'm afraid. Best of luck with your new trailer and happy travels.
Hannah and Kyle
