Both are in nearly new condition, and both have just about, if not every option available for them!

The Scamp has:

Custom Deluxe honey oak interior with an amazing amount of storage, front bath floorplan with Awning, Air Conditioning, two LP tanks, furnace, largest two-door refrigerator available from Scamp with separate freezer, GE microwave, screen door, and 14" tires and wheels.

The Chevy truck is:

the four-door, four wheel drive S-10 with 94,000 miles, a towing package (including electronic brake controller) with Class III receiver as well as the Scamp 5th wheel setup, new Cooper tires with 1,000 miles on them (I put them on in Sheridan WY on our way home), 4.3l V-6, CD/Cassette stereo, all power options, tilt, cruise, air and all of the other available options. We got a solid 15mpg towing the Scamp to Iowa from Spokane in early March this year.

The story: I bought this outfit for my mid-70s parents who would like to downsize from their 25’ 10,000 lb GVWR fifth wheel and their ¾ ton Dodge truck. I thought this would be perfect for them. And it was. They loved it until my Mother and her stubborn knees couldn’t get up into the bed and move around on it <sigh>. So we may be looking for a Casita 17’ trailer for them, but in the meantime, if you’re looking for a rare Custom Deluxe Scamp with a hard-to-find superb four door tow pickup in nearly new condition, this is THE one! The former owners took exceptional care of this unit, and we’ve only used for three nights while driving home. It is still winterized! I will de-winterize it and guarantee that all of the systems are working before you drive it home.

There are 45 additional photos available at: http://photos.yahoo.com/chief1120 click on the Scamp 19' Fifth Wheel Y2K folder…

That is a very beautiful combo! If we weren't so happy with our Casita, we'd probably take it off your hands. We almost went with the Scamp 5th wheel, but decided on the Casita for reasons I've mentioned elsewhere.

I hope you sell it in short order. I can't imagine it hanging around for very long. It's a gem!

This is a bargain, Roger, considering how well kept are your vehicles.

I'll keep this in mind if I hear of someone seeking a 5th wheel. I'm sure it won't be around long!

Do you have an ez payment plan?

I can give you 2 bucks a month.

OK, I might be able to go to 5, but no more!

Hey Roger, give us a rundown on the truck
Ok, Bill...

The good: it's an '01 S10 LS (top trim package) 4Dr 4WD 4.3l V6 with 94k miles. It's got a factory tow package, all of the options available including both CD and cassette. The interior looks new. It has a bed liner. I put new tires on it in Sheridan WY on the way home, and they have less than 1,000 miles on them. The truck delivered a solid 15mpg towing the Scamp from Spokane to eastern Iowa and had plenty of power. The rear end was recently rebuilt with posi, and was built to be bullet proof. The truck looks and runs like new. The care it had before I bought it shows.

I have most (if not all) of the service receipts for the truck, as well as an original '01 brochure and all of the paperwork for the truck. I wouldn't (and didn't, as a matter of fact) hesitate to drive this truck and trailer anywhere in the country tomorrow.

The bad and ugly: It has an oil seep from one of the hoses on the factory oil filter relocation hose that should probably be changed. It could stand shocks, and should probably have all of its fluids changed. The exterior has one door ding in the passenger side fender that you have to look to find.

Hope that helps!

Oh, and Gina... lemme figure this out... five bucks a month... for the rest of your natural life... nope... don't think there's enough months...
