SOLD: 2003 Scamp 16 $10k

Deluxe model (oak woodwork); side bath with front bunk/couch. Everything works as it should. Clean title; current AZ registration.

4" lift
2 way fridge
Fantastic Fan with after market shroud to keep rain out
Awning
Dual propane tanks
Vinyl plank flooring (ez to remove if you prefer carpet)
100 w solar panel with controller
100 amp hr glass mat battery
C Head composting toilet (original plus tank available; not sure of condition)
10x10 Clam pop up screen room with some side panels
Flat screen TV/DVD with mount (mounted under cabinets @ foot of bed)
Adjustable aluminum jack stands for xtra stability (2)
Drive on leveling blocks
Most of the original manuals/documentation

Bunch of misc stuff

Has been stored on blocks, wheels off, covered for the last year. I'm flying in from Central America Thanksgiving week to clean it up and out. Trailer has seen very little use for its age and is in very good condition. I don't have pics of the interior with me, but will post more Thanksgiving week. Hope to have it available for viewing/purchase in Tucson the day after Thanksgiving. Will respond to questions but it might take a day or two as internet is slow where I am. Will try to attach some exterior pics I have on cell phone. Great deal for someone!! Thanks for looking!

I know, I know... My wife would probably kill me if I brought home another RV right now. Two months ago I acquired my mom's Roadtrek Class B, and it has already become a money pit due to sitting unused and neglected for several years. I have to get it fixed up and sold. It's nice but just not our style. We are also at a life season when we are camping less due to our teenagers' busy academic and sports schedules and need to buy a third daily transportation vehicle more than another RV...

I predict this will sell really fast. If for any reason it doesn't, send me a PM in a couple of months!

Wouldn't want your wife to do anything hasty Jon! Good luck on the Roadtrek, I like the shorter versions (like the "Agile").

Jon, if you have a 13’, you could sell it to me and buy the 16’ of your dreams. You’ll be happy, I’ll be happy and most importantly, your wife will be happy

Very nice to see the C-head in there. I just bought my new Scamp 16, #4 without a toilet installed with the intent to use a C-head. Good to see how well it fits.

Using the rubber tie-downs, as this one has, allows the toilet to be easily removed from the shower area when you want to take a shower. Even the guy at the Scamp factory, when doing my walk through, commented that that would make the shower MUCH more usable. That was my thought when I ordered it.

Hi Lyle; the C-head fits as if it were specifically designed for the space! It is well designed, easy to remove, and does make the shower much more usable. Easier to clean too. When clamped in the C-head is rock solid both in use and in travel. We were a little apprehensive about changing over, but were happy with the decision. Good travels!

Yes, Thanksgiving week and part of the following week. Trailer has been up on blocks for a year, so I need to inspect and clean it and remove personal clothes and stuff. Will hopefully be ready for folks to take a look at just after Thanksgiving day. PM sent with contact info., and I'll send out another to set up a viewing. Thanks for your interest!

Scamp has electric brakes, 7pin connection. Weight approximately 2600lbs loaded. I pulled it with a 2002 Toyota Highlander, v6, auto transmission, got 17mpg towing, and this combo worked great.
