2008 Scamp Camper, purchased new in Backus, MN (Dealer) in Oct 2008. This is an all fiberglass light weight (900 lbs) camper that can be towed with a four cylinder car or pickup with only a bumper hitch. It has extra interior cabinets and lights, a furnace, sink, 3-way refrigerator, electric roof vent, screen door, battery pack, etc. No AC or bathroom. I am a truck driver and I bought this new for camping/hunting on my days off, but I am camping quite a bit lately, and I need something larger. Towing this Scamp I still get 18 mpg with my pickup. I paid $9600 plus tax for this unit, so this is a good deal.
