SOLD: 2013 Escape 19 - $29,000 USD
For Sale - 2013 Escape 19 - $29,000 USD
I am sadly selling my 2013 Escape 19. Reason for selling: I cannot justify the cost when I am not able to use her more often (work, health & life keep getting in the way). As such, my beautiful, like new, barely used Escape is for sale.
NOTE: The floor plan is reversed from the regular 19. My permanent bed is a full size bed (not a queen) in the FRONT of the trailer. The U-shaped dinette, which makes into a Queen, is in the back.
The trailer comes fully loaded:
2 Burner Stainless Steel Stove
No Rangehood
OPENING Window over sink
Polar Cub 9200 BTU AC with heat strip
Dual 6V Batteries
Exterior Propane Quick Connect
Exterior shower Extra Insulation & Thermal Windows
LED Interior Light Package
LED exterior light over storage box
2 - LED Exterior Porch
4 - LED Captains Reading Lamps
Microwave
Opening Window in Bathroom
Removable Power Cord
Stainless Steel Sink & Chrome Faucet
Storage Box
Surge Protector
TV Antenna with power amplifier (Includes TV Ready)
4 additional 12 Volt Outlets
95W Solar Panel
Spray Foam Insulation
Custom Formica - Beige Grafix Custom
Mattress Cover
Custom Fabric for Cushions
U shaped rear dinette
Front Permanent Bed
2 - Shelves in Wardrobe
Height of the dinette seating increased by 4"
Extra grab handle installed on inside of trailer
Umbra Hooks - 2 sets
Backup camera
1500W inverter with 1 outlet / rear dinette - kitchen side
Reinforced bathroom walls
Additional Ctr Extension on Driver's side of trailer over bed
2 Way Hot Water Tank
Reinforced wall between the fridge and rear dinette
Spectrum 45478 Euro Wall Mount Spice Rack
True Red Graphics
I have had her professionally winterized and de-winterized by my local RV dealership each year since July 2013. She is currently winterized.
Price is $29,000 USD

The 2015 19' Escape, stock is going for $25,500. She's got over $7,000 in options and add-ons. Even if you were to order one from ETI today, you wouldn't get it until Oct. 6 (next production date).
I love the changed layout in this trailer. SWEET!

I just looked at all of the photos again. I agree with Donna- the flipped floor plan is really great! Your trailer looks like it just rolled out of the factory.

Thanks Donna! The layout is perfect for a solo traveler (works for a couple as well). There is plenty of storage under the bed. And, having the huge u-shape dinette area with the large table and terrific views out the 3 back windows really is nice.
At the time I purchased, my options cost about $8800.

Thanks Jeff. The trailer still smells new as well. Sadly, only because I haven't been able to get out as often as I wanted.

Lisa, you have a very nice trailer. Hope you do not get "sellers remorse".
The rear dinette is a terrific idea. I wish my trailer was set up that way.

Hi Jenny,
This trailer far exceeded all my expectations. The quality of the build is excellent. I have not had a single problem. All communications with ETI were wonderful ... whenever I had a question about some trailer function, I would get a reply from ETI usually within the same day.
Next up? A class C. something which is easier on the knees, back, etc.

We currently own a Casita and are looking for more space. What is the weight of your rig? It looks and reads great and we are very interested.
Thanks,
Mke

Hi Mike,
ETI lists the dry weight (before options) at 2510 lbs. I know my 19 weighs considerably more due to the options AC, solar, etc. ...
I believe there is a weight sticker on her but I won't be able to see that until Saturday at the earliest.

I tow with an F150 4X4 pickup. The trailer pulls like she's glued to my bumper. Very smooth. I do not use a WDH.

Lisa, have you had the escape weighed since you had all the options put on? If anything was added after market, that weight would not be on the sticker. Our present tow vehicle is a 2010 Nissan Xterra, so that is the reason for our questions/concerns. We are interested in the Escape, just want to know the weight for safety concerns with our tow vehicle.
Thank you so much for your replies.

Mike,
I haven't added anything after market. All the options were installed at the factory. I haven't weighed it either.
Here's a very useful link to Trailer Weights:

Lisa, do you have the "Certificate of Origin for a Trailer" from ETI? It lists the actual shipping weight with all the options you ordered included. My 17B shipped at 2,725 lbs with all options. The listed "Dry Weight" is a measly 1,650 lbs.

Pat,
Thanks for the tip! I'll check my documents.

I have checked my Certificate of Origin.
The shipping weight listed is 1145kg = about 2524 lbs.
Just for reference, the GVWR is 1818kg = 4008 lbs.
