MI | SOLD: Scamp 16' layout 4

for sale is a 1990 Scamp layout 4. far as i can tell everything is original besides maybe the AC unit(which is a small home window unit).

needs a few minor things fixed(shower head has a crack that leaks, silverware drawer is VERY tight, 1 outside marker light which i have, has new drain hose housing that needs to be attached. everything else works properly.
exterior was recently detailed in Oct.
i will gladly take inside photos for a serious, interested party.

located in northern Mi. but willing to meet in the metro Detroit area with a secured deposit.

What do you tow it with? I have a subaru outback, 2.5i engine and have been looking for a 13' but wonder if I could pull a 16' with it? Any ideas?

The reason an Outback is not a good match for a 16' Scamp is tongue weight. The Outback is limited to 200# and tongue weight on a Scamp 16 is around 300#.

A Scamp 13 will carry about 200# on the hitch.

What's the discoloration in your second photo of the exterior? Looks like front left.

Do you have any more pictures of the tongue? What's the extent of rust on it and the frame?

Are these pictures pre or post detailing?

Doc Wood, we towed with an 08 Chevy Equinox & it did a good job.

Justus C, that is dirt from being outside. all of that is gone.
the tongue is in pretty good shape with minimal rust.

im sorry i havent responded sooner. i have folks looking at it today and if they do not take it home ill be more than glad to upload some more pics.
