SOLD Trillium 5500 for sale
Dunno if I'm posting in the wrong place, so pls advise where I can properly post this 1981 trailer for sale.
Seems there were only 60 or so of these models produced, so don't miss the opportunity to own something vintage and truly unique! D/T failing health, I must deny my dream of camping in this beauty.
Mostly original except where noted below.
Paid $8G for it (can send copy of the seller's advert. with his details). We worked to 'bring her up to snuff' (I can provide 'before' and 'after' photos). Jalousie windows were removed and where necessary re-fitted with new wood, re-sealed and re-installed. Fitted with additional small fridge for my husband's beer . The 5500 is the only Trillium with a full bathroom (sink/toilet/shower); 'on demand' hot water heater installed; 3-burner stove with oven; sleeps 4 on extra long beds ( rearmost bed raised for easier entrance and egress also provides for increased storage capacity beneath);has dual, tongue-mounted propane tanks ( with molded travel cover); spare tire has custom travel cover with Trillium logo; 'MAXX Air' over roof vent/fan assembly; 'cased' awning, not 'bag' awning. Storage a-plenty! She's in excellent condition and comes complete with EVERYTHING you would need to hit the road/go camping.... towels, dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils, cookware..... EVERYTHING!
My TrudyGirl needs some loving family to take her where she longs to be used & loved. Photos to follow once I figure out how to post them!

Yes, pictures are required. A picture of the data sheet that should be on the inside of the closet door would be ideal. That way, I can add your 5500 to the serial number list:
http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...tml#post460993
It should be noted that on that list is a 5500 that appears to be #142. I would say that more then 60 were made.

Hi David,
Ser.# is 55-3320116 as you'd suggested on the inside closet door.
I was told there were only 65 of the 5500's manufactured, and have read similar info from other different sites as well. But, what do I know, huh?
Guess I'm all wet!
As soon as I can teach myself how to post photos, I shall. Please, all, bear with me. Tks!

Thanks for you msg. Just a quick reply with the wall-to-wall measurements. Photos to follow, I promise!
Inside Height is 6'4"
Inside Width is 7'4"
Inside Length 13'9"
Since I've seen some listed at $9500. some time ago empty, asmine sits with EVERYTHING inside as described in listing, the first offer over $10G tows her away.

Your serial number suggests that yours is the 116th 5500 produced.

Sorry folks.. but after taking some fifty-six photos of the Trillium inside details, I've been working at this for the past TWO FULL HOURS! and cannot download the photos onto my computer for some reason known only to God and my computer.
Am I frustrated??? HARDLY! I'll have to take my computer in to the repair place to see what I've done to to make it hate me.
I vow to have photos posted as soon as I get this sorted out but it may have to wait now until after the w/e when I get the thing back from the computer 'whiz'es.
I am TRULY sorry for this mess up. Please check back in a bit for posted photos.
Thanks so much for your patience.

My understanding is he can't get them out the camera, so he won't be able to email them either I guess.
Me too I'd like to see pictures. I'm sort of looking for a 5500. Not quite ready to buy, but you never know!

Finally thanks to a great guy, there are photos of my Trillium 5500 posted on this website by Kenny H. Please check them out. Note that he only did this as a favour to me, and has requested any questions be directed to me, the seller. I will try to answer as best I can. Should add that after we worked so hard on her to sort her out, sadly my husband's condition deteriorated such that we've NEVER even had the chance to take her camping! You can colour me some SAD!!! If you go back to Kenny H last post, then click on his name on the left and then select view public profile, you should see Bainbridge's album on the right. Otherwise, maybe this link will work - Fiberglass RV - Kenny H's Album: V. Bainbridge's trillium
