Amateur radio and the fiberglass life

ARRL members take note; OLIVER made the cover of QST magazine promoting "FIELD DAY". K2PLM are you here?

I just saw that and tried to remember where else I heard about a FGRV and ham radio!

Congratulations.

I hadn't seen that yet. I selected the "On The Air" magazine with our ARRL for my wife. Our Campster is our go box and will be at our club's field day. My wife is committed to try her hand at HF.

Scamp hamming

Been hamming from the Scamp for awhile..vertical HF antenna now, Kenwood. TS-480 hf rig inside. Need to set it up for rovering during the VHF contest, I have a Yaesu FT-0736 with 6/2/220/440. 43' pushup mast with yagis for each band. Will retire in a year, plan to make use of some of that non-working time!

Do you radio folks admit that you're too busy hamming it up to bring home the bacon? Keep having fun with your hobby.
