I agree that a "history" section or forum would be great. So many good folks have posted their research efforts on this forum (eg. Roy in TO and Brian B-P in regards the
Boler trailers come right to mind and there are so many others). Right now, it is a little difficult to find as historical information is spread out over numerous threads, some many years old. Failing a separate forum, maybe a history sticky in the Manufacturers section would work.
As time passes, and these Bolers, Trilliums, etc. keep on rolling down the road, their history will be of even more interest to us all. These are great entrepreneurial stories worth keeping alive IMHO.
I enjoyed the Wally Byam info you referred to. As a kid, I spent much time looking at pictures in Trailer Life of the Wally Byam caravans. I was particularly intrigued by trips where trailers were placed on railway flat cars and folks traveled by rail through Mexico on their private railcar campsite. Looked like so much fun!
