Getting ready

We are washing
We are polishing
We are fixing
and
We are biting at the bit
Today added the new awning track moved the awning to it and had a coffee then dreamed of Manitoulin camping.
We are told camping local private camps will open first; it should be a rush to get a site
Added new vent cover for toilet and had a coffee and dreamed of McGregor park.
Cleaned the roof and took a break for some lunch
Scrapped the silicone off of the old awning track so it could go back on to hold the new awning travel cover had a drink of juice and dreamed of fishing on Manitoulin
Looked lovingly at the fly fishing gear and then rested with a glass of ice water
Next will go out and wash the windows again,
What will you get ready

Often, by this time if the year, we'd be camping somewhere in Canada. Probably the Yukon, visiting with friends.
With these extraordinary times, we're still at home, enjoying the adventures of the few who are out there.camping.
Best of luck, and have fun, when you get to enjoy your favorite places.
For us, Canada, is now a next year trip. That's ok. We totally respect the travel restrictions. We want everyone to stay well!

We will be glad when all can get out and travel. I live in a camping area so will be able to enjoy when they open up even local. Will only go to the campgrounds with space between sites for safety. Check out the Bruce peninsula some time it has 44 types of orchids on north half and 52 of the 57 types that grow in north america grow on the peninsula. I is also a bird migratory path.

End of may Calypso very very rare (flower pot island), Rams head (Singing sands trail area), slipper types white, showy, yellow, dwarf yellow and many other early types come out. We have some mid summer types like Coral roots striped and spotted, rattle snake plantain types 5 in pine needle beds, sandy areas ladies tresses, hooded, up to June common though, Alaskan rain orchid (august) rare hard to find, white fringed (long swamp) bog candles white and green swamp types are hard to find and include Poligula single purple flower, Cape Croaker reserve has stripped Coral root.

It may not be the Yukon or Florida but we like it.
