Smile Monongahela Photos, just a few

Every year in October, I am drawn to the Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia. Usually I camp for a week but this year only had a few days. Here are a few of the shots...Oh how I love the FALL!

Thank you Carol H that was nice of you to say. Usually there is water in all the rivers and creeks, Pocahontas County is called the birthplace of rivers. But this year there was very little water, so sad to see...I have been going there for over 30 years now in the fall, just love it.

We have had a long dry summer and fall here in BC as well and a lot of the lakes and ponds are very low. Some of the dogs fav muds holes/creeks on the trails we walk near the river have all dried up. Cant decide if thats a bad or a good thing

We are suppose to get some rain this week-end - thanks to the super Typhoon in Japan - just in time for our Canadian Thanksgiving long week-end - might be a few wet campers out there. Still going to take my camera and hope to get some nice fall shoots before we get to wet.

BTW are you using Lightroom?
