Sunset at Rockhound State Park
I was at Rockhound State Park in NM last night & the sunset was beautiful. Too bad I wasn't there for the eclipse, but I'll take this sunset:

A couple of recents: a yearling member of the Corolla, NC feral pony herd, and a young fox kit at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Delaware.

One of the 'off the beaten track' and most beautiful campgrounds on the Olympic Peninsula - Salt Creek Recreation Area
The mighty Elwha, in the Olympics, recently released from decades of being dammed by two dams.
Lots of lake silt, will take awhile to clear, plus spring glacier water, makes it look murky but it is a happy river!
succulents cover the banks at the beach at Salt Creek
We arrived home from a recent trip to this little one sitting in our driveway. Already has that Robin determination look!

Summer Camping around Bay View State Park
We just returned from three nights at Bay View State Park near Mount Vernon WA.
As always, we found plenty of beautiful things to photograph in the area, and despite hot weather camping was pleasant.

September in the Okanagan
We have just returned from 5 days of dry camping at Haynes Point Provincial Park and Okanagan Lake Provincial Park. While weather was pleasant 26C (=79F), there were signs of autumn's approach:
