Shooting Sports

For about the last 20 years I have gone to several big shooting events a year. When I joined the North-South Skirmish Association, I had a "place" where camping was not just available, it was the norm. My sponsor into the unit gave me a decrepit stickie that was literally falling apart, but I had already decided on a small fiberglass trailer as perfect for my needs. When the stickie became too damaged to salvage after a storm, I sped up my search and found my Burro. The only other camper type I ever seriously considered for this duty was an Air$tream Bambi, which would have had to be stripped out and completely reworked to make it as suitable as the Burro was from the git-go. I think I made the right choice!

While I am not an avid shooting sports type we do enjoy taking our Boler out to my brothers farm once a year for red neck weekend. Lots of trap shooting, archery, and target shooting. And don't forget some great wild game meals.
