The party is getting bigger!

Jim, I am glad you got the reservation problem solved---ReserveAmerica doesn't let you reserve on-line until 8 a.m., although I don't understand why---and you can reserve more than 9 months ahead, as long as your start date isn't. Did I just make that clear as mud? Anyway, we're looking forward to having you at the Gathering---have you filled out a registration yet? It's the form on the Casita forum (under "General Interest" then "Rallies and Campouts (Upcoming)", then "Oregon Gathering"). After you fill out the registration form, Gene puts you on the Bullards Beach map (it's fun to watch the map fill up), and I get a copy of your registration so we can make the signs for your trailer site, etc. Anyway, welcome!

Bruce and Kathy---we're glad you're coming back! We so enjoyed the pictures of our little Iggy on Flickr---now she's not just OLD, but also FAMOUS! It will be good to see you again---Lynn and Teresa

Lily and I just reserved A 4.....July 15 through July 21.

Looking forward to seeing Gene's map. The Bullard campground map only has about 5 more sites available in the A Loop. Just wonder if all the reserved ones are us. Most likely.

Lights, anyone?

The July 2013 Oregon Gathering will be having it's 2nd annual lighting competition. We still have to determine what the categories will be (for prizes, in case anyone wants to win something), but now is a great time to stock up on any LED or solar lights you might want for your trailer or camp site...I just ordered the ones we need (they have white wiring, which is pretty hard to find, in LED) on-line---we had lots more to pick from this time of year. We hope to have LOTS of participants this year---last year was lovely, but more is always better, in my book. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody.

This is a great time of the year to buy lights and accessories. Deck clips for running lights around the belly band and a TIMER. The sun doesn't go down until late at this time of the year. And having your lights on a timer allows you to set it and forget it (and not leave them on all night!)

This thing is really filling up. Last I looked at the map 73 spaces had been reserved. How many were there last year?

Steve, I don't have the info in front of me, but over 100 all molded sites were reserved by time the gathering started.

Are you going to join us this year?

Yes, I bit the bullet, I have B 11 reserved. I don't have to be back in Vegas until the middle of August for the start of school so the timing is kind of a bit early for me to be on my downward swing. I've stayed at Bullards the past 3 years and gotten an earful from the rangers that I was a few weeks off. This year I decided to make the time to check it out. After all it's Kind of the Sturgis of fiberglass trailers, LOL!!!!!

Not that there are any truly bad spots but the C loop is a bit on the barren side. Lots of great sites left in the B loop and there are a few spots left where all the action is happening in the A loop. Should be a blast!!!

Steve, I would love to move to A or B.

Where did you get the information on available sites?

B58 and B61 are right next to the bathroom if that is a concern
It always was in my Trillium.

A38 looks like a good spot in the A loop. Whoops 38 is a Yurt. Sorry.

A48 looks open but it is right next door to Donna. I don't have any first hand knowledge but I've heard that Donna likes to party all night dancing on tables and stuff.
