According to the reservation people there are only a few sites left in C.

All those colorfully flagged sites are fiberglass trailers and friends. The other spaces in A and B are taken by nonaligned people. They may be in for a shock!

WOW! Almost full!!!!! Actually I believe the black spaces are for non reservation only. Make your reservation and then when you show ask about their availability. As in all state parks they will have lots of cancellations (not so much us fiberglassers). I've stayed there at least 3 times on weekends during the busiest summer months and I've never had a reservation. No reason to tempt fate though.

I actually love C loop... less wind, more sun. BUT, I'm in the park for 8 nights... and need sewer hookup. There's only a handful of sites with sewer in C loop. Sigh.

Bring a bicycle and a chair you can pack around. You'll be visiting other's campfires and a bicycle makes it easy to get around the park (which is very large). The park is actually more than a mile back from the beach and close to two miles from the lighthouse. It's a very nice bike ride (if the wind isn't blowing!).

See ya all there, safe travels!

I moved so my old site is available

Hi I just moved closer to the action into A-04, and cancelled my reservation in C-17, July 18-22. Just looked at Bullards on ReserveAmerica site and there are two sites available for the Gathering. C-17 (my old site) and C-47. Both are on the inside loops, suitable for short rigs (24' and under).

Barbara, pm'd you about it this morning.

NEED a camping site at Bullards!

I NEED a SITE...so, if you have to CANCEL yours, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

I would love to buy it from you, before you cancel with the State Parks and lose money due to your cancellation.

I'll get an email quicker than viewing a posting on this forum:

gardencoach@live.com

Thanks so much.

Sounds like we're gearing up to have a grand time at the OR Gathering---please let me know if you're interested in volunteering to help with the festivities, or want to lead a workshop, or have any questions about the schedule and events we have planned. The detailed list of "things we need" is on the Casita forum, under the subheading of Oregon Gathering---looking forward to seeing you all there!

We are newbies with our Compact Jr. We booked what we could, July 20th in C27. Will we be too far away from everybody to learn about this Rally Stuff? I read somewhere that Bullards Beach State Park has some first come sites? Does anyone know how many and what we can do for backup if we can't get one? We will be coming from Roseville, CA......any info on how your Rally works would be appreciated. Still learning how to use this site. I want to get ideas on how to fix up our Compact before my husband dives into it! Thanks Kathleen

You will not miss anything being in C loop lots of others there as well. The trailer tours are on the 20th as well.

See the link that Donna posted above for all the info on the meet. You may have to sign up for the Casita Forum though to read it all.
