Following our recent discovery of
fiberglass trailers, my boyfriend and I embarked on a frenzied search for one of our own. We live in Arcata, CA, (~3 hours way from Bullard's), so awhile back I reserved a campsite for Friday, thinking we would camp as FV fans/spectators. Well, after much hard work and a few disappointments, yesterday we brought home a 1983
Burro 13'!
Now that we have a trailer, we are looking forward to learning all about it and how to make some repairs/improvements ourselves. However, we would love to have some experienced eyes cast over it and advise as to what repairs we can undertake and what to leave to the experts. We have learned much on the FGRV forums but would love to have someone assess the trailer's overall soundness. (It has some dings and cracks in the
fiberglass, dampness below the fresh water tank, leaking
windows, etc.) After all, we love our
Burro & want to enjoy it for many years to come.
If anyone would be kind enough to help us out with this we may be able to improve your Oregon Gathering experience with some nice local wine or many kind words...
Thanks,
- Rebecca (& Mike)
