1970 Trailswest Campster - trailer newbie

Hi All -

Just wanted to introduce myself, I've been a lurker for some time now. My husband and I bought a 1970 Trailswest Campster last year (from a couple who also posts on these boards!) and we've been making some minor fixes to it. We're not particularly handy so we haven't tried making any big changes yet. We've taken it out a handful of times this year and I love it! I've always liked tiny houses, and the campster is definitely the ultimate tiny house.

Cool, welcome to the Campster family! I have to ask about your interior walls- mine have what appears to be black loop Velcro on them (the hook velcro attaches securely to it.) Yours look dark, too, is that what they have? What's the number of your Campster?

Nice looking trailer. I am rather fond of mine. Each time we take it out we come up with more ideas on how to make it better.

It is really like a tiny house.

The inside walls are covered with a velcro-y fabric, but it's sort of a light beige/pink color instead of black. I wasn't sure about it at first but it's grown on me.

I'm not sure of the number... looks like it may have been painted over. I had difficulty getting it licensed in Oregon, as there was no VIN plate or sticker, in the end they had to assign it a new VIN.
