1971 Trillium

Recently become the proud owner of a 1971 Trillium and I'm ready to fully customize this beauty to take my young family on trips around Canada (I'm from Hamilton, Ontario) If anyone knows where to get the interior fiberglass parts I would love to get ahold of some shelves.
Going to be looking through these forms for ideas and do's and dont's.
Thanks

Nathan, Nice Trillium! It looks like the previous owner messed up the Ensolite though. You can't buy that stuff anymore.

The fibreglass components that you want are available from Outback/Trillium in Calgary, (https://trilliumtrailers.com/). Shipping would be expensive though. The molds that they use are from a later year than 1971, but I'm not sure what year. Are you sure that the original fibreglass is not under the wood? You should be able to tell from the inside of the cabinets. If it’s there, it is not too difficult to get it back to original shape.

It looks like the belly band is half done. I did a couple of threads on the subject, (https://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/...ead-58763.html and https://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/...ead-59580.html)

It is nice that the previous owner did their best to not destroy the driver side Trillium logo. However, if that is an absorbtion fridge, I suspect that there is not enough air flow to opperate properly, on a hot day. If it is a compressor fridge, it should be fine.

Is that actually a ceramic tile back splash? Not sure about the wisdom of that. Heavy, and delicate.

Thanks for the links and tips.
Yeah they did mess up the ensolite, we were very sad to see that. yes the fiberglass upper cabinets and kitchen are still under the cedar but im looking for the upper shelf for the front and back.
Thanks for the fridge info, im not sure what kind it is but the previous owner said it was a Dometic fridge.
I also questioned the reason for a ceramic backsplash. wont be able to attach anything and the grout (which isn't done) will probably crack during transport.

Joe at Trillium/Outback may not be able to provide the shelves. I asked him once. He said that he had temporary molds for the shelves.

thanks for the tips.
I do have one other question i was wondering if you could shed light on. Air Conditioning on the trillium. is this possible? will a roof top one work? unfortunately my front and back windows are similar to the boler and are plexiglass so i cant install a window one. i saw many people did and and equal amount of people saying don't due to weight and cutting the 9x9 vent looses structural integrity.
do you have any advice or tips?

Trillium did a factory roof AC. They used what I call a saddle. a large fibreglass structure that spanned the width of the roof and an inside piece that fit the 14" hole. This spread the weight between the closet and above the kitchen. They also added kitchen supports.

Below is a picture of the fibreglass from this thread:
https://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/...ion-47173.html

The 9" vent never had any structure. If I were to enlarge it to a 14" vent, I would frame the hole in pultruded 1" square tube, (or 1.5"). This allows the vent opening to be raised a bit, to keep a powered roof vent, like a Maxx Air fan, from hanging down and reducing head room.

Your Trillium looks good. Trust those electric brakes will work well for you.
