1973 Boler Parts Help

.........Hi boler-ama people. I am so lost as to where to start looking for parts to restore our boler. We live in the Vancouver area but can happily buy parts from anywhere. So are there actually still parts that are new that can be bought? Are there stores with used stuff or do you have to buy all parts from a person who has spares? When I say parts I mean everything from the table brackets to re install the table to the poll under neath to the light covers right tot he roof vent...any information and parts places would be appreciated. Email is great too tinybikerchic@hotmail.com. Thanks

Welcome. On most FG campers, the manufacturer only made the body and frame and everything else comes from second party manufacturers. You will be able to find just about everything you need, but may need to ask about one item at a time. Photos help a lot to allow us to recognize a part and associated manufacturer.

Used parts also show up on Kiiji, Craigslist and eBay, if you know what you are looking for.

to FiberglassRV, we're glad you're here

Tom gave you excellent advice. These trailers are more alike that different.

IMHO, folks aren't likely to email you with suggestions. It will be up to you to pay attention to threads and read the archives... lots and lots of info in the archives. If you have a particular problem or question, we're here to help!

Welcome, a lot of the Scamp trailer parts fit Boler's , shipping can be expensive but if you pick up over the border it is reasonable.
Scamp Trailers Parts Store

Vintage trailer supply also has some unusual parts eg the window crank mechanisms

2pzinabod,

We are in a similar boat. Admittedly, I have not looked for anything specific. But I do have a few things in mind that need some immediate attention. I'll pass along anything I find to your email.

Hi I have a 1976 Boler that I am doing some renos to.
I have removed the bunk beds at the front and am replacing with a table and bench so we do not have to make up the bed every night.
As a result I have the fibreglass bench and backrest / upper bunck from the front that you are welcome to have.
Unfortunately I live in Sarnia, Ontario

Interesting, the OP posted and then left. Last Activity: 09-23-2013 05:10 AM I guess he or she thought leaving an email address to respond to was all that was needed. Too bad.
