1973 Trillium from the BC Coast.

Hi. We're a family of 4 who have the luck of sharing our lives with a 1973 Trillium. We took her on a road trip to California and back in January from Vancouver Island, BC, towing her with our 2005 Toyota Matrix. We're planning more trips and are now modding her for off grid camping. Love all the the ideas on these forums. So helpful!

Would like to see some bigger pics of your set up.

Hi Ben, We have a 4500 Trillium and live on the Island. Do check out Island Bolers and Friends on Facebook, we would love to have more Trilliums join us. We would love to have you join us.

WildBirder there are is some wonderful camping north of Nanaimo. We spent 3 weeks last summer - Port Hard, Campbell River, Gold River, Pacific Rim and love camping on Gabriola. If you are coming to the island it is really worth going to Gold River and taking the trip on the MV Uchuck 3 out to Friendly Cove. The MV Uchuck III | Get West Adventure Cruises | Vancouver Island We do not camp with hookups, but do not boondock though many in the group do, and would be willing to share good sites. If June is not to early, join us for our Bolerama at the end of June or finish your holiday in Sooke in Sept at our fall gathering. We towed our trailer from Port Renfrew through to Cowichan Lake no problem.

Great group welcome to the adventure; many of us have been camping for a long time with different trailers and TV's. Camping is always good to create fun experiences your children; they will get the bug if they do not already have it. Sorry to tell you they do not have a vaccination for this, it is contagious, and ultimately incurable; so have fun and enjoy the trip.
