73 Eco in Dallas

Just scooped this lil guy up from Austin. Great price and managed to respond to the for sale ad 3 minutes after it went up on Craigslist.

The PO had over twenty people contact him in the 4hrs it took me to drive down from Dallas (four while we were looking at it and signing the title), with some offering a good bit more than his asking price. Luckily, he was a real honest guy and held the camper for me while I was travelling down to get it.

Trailer seems in decent shape functionally, getting new cushions and a good scrub down (and some air fresheners), and taking it out on some trips!

Getting a lot of great ideas for it from this site!
Running searches online for anything "eco" is pretty useless in hoping that it actually comes up with anything related to the camper haha.

Way to go Chad. Nice looking will clean up well. You came to the right forum. There are more renovation pictures and ideas and suggestions from people here then you will know what to do with.
Nice to see another Texan on board.

Nice score. You probably need a new torsion axle, but they are readily available.

Hi Chad, to FiberglassRV, we're glad you're here!

You SCORED! Looks like a nice little trailer than will provide you many future happy memories.

We have several owners here on the forums with ECOs. They're a kissin' cousin to several different brands: Boler, Scamp, Casita Patroit come to mind. These trailers are more alike than different.

There is lots of info here. If I recall the ECO is an offspring of the boler American made by Century Manufacturing in Aurora, NB most likely starting in late 1972 until???
ECO was the 3 brothers first initials.
Here is a good start for you to start putting the pieces together. Anything you can add would be helpful to us all:

Hi Chad, I have a 73' ECO also and love it. We have had it for 4 years and are getting ready to do a total overhaul on it in a few months (once it starts cooling down here in Florida). I will post it to the forum, keep an eye out.
Happy Camping!
