85 Uhaul ct13

Hi everyone! I convinced my brother to give me his ct13 that had been sitting at my moms house for over 20 years. From the CT's that I have seen pictures of, mine looks a little different, it has a toilet room. Going to start fixing it up soon. Wish me luck

Rose, are you sure it's a CT13. It could be a VT 16 which is a little longer and had a potty room. As I recall there were only 59 of them made. Check the frame for rust through in the tubular sections, setting on grass is not good. Also the VT's had surge brakes, the CT,s had no brakes.

The VT has a 13’ shell. If it has a potty room it is a VT. VTs also have a table at the front and surge brakes like UHaul moving trailers.

Thank you for letting me know it’s a VT. I looked up the details on a VT. I had no idea there were so few made. The camper sat in my moms yard in El PasoTX which is desert climate and no grass. I will still check for rust.

Try to join the UHaul camper Facebook group. I have a parts cross reference list for almost everything posted there. Once I see a picture of yours I will add you to the list of VT owners. Yours will likely be the 51st I have documented.
