A Camping Fool in Oregon
Hi and Happy New Year to you all. I have been enjoying this site for a couple of months and thought it was time I said howdy. My wife of thiry years and I have graduated from back packing to tent camping to a pop up trailer and are convinced that a small 13-16' fiberglass trailer is our next step up in camping. As a furniture/cabinet maker I couldn't abide the cabinets in the tent trailer we own so I re built the inside of the Pony last year-I imagine it will be the same no matter what we buy in the world of fiberglass trailers. I have followed several threads about restorations and I'm sure they will be of great help and inspiration when I get to make a trailer mine. You have a great site here!

Hi Reid, welcome to FiberglassRV. Is there a brand or size of trailer you're interested in particularly? Lots of people here to keep an out for you too!

No particular brand. 13-16' w/out shower/bath. Don't really have the time for a complete restoration but can't afford new and want to make it some what unique. Most of our camping is done in Nat'l forest campgrounds so no hookups which precludes A/C ,etc. I would much appreciate any leads as I'm not finding much in the normal ads.
Thanks for your response.

Welcome. This is a great site for ideas and technical info. I've been down the same road as you, from backpacking to popup to now, enjoying the comfort of a fiberglass trailer. Ours is an EggCamper and, if you're looking for a rig that you can customize to your liking, take a look at the EggCamper.
