Smile About to become the proud owners of a Beachcomber TM15

Hi everyone,

My husband and I are going to be purchasing a Beachcomber TM15 from our neighbours. I don't know that much about it yet, but we do know it's a "fixer-upper". This will be our first ever trailer, so we really are "newbies", but we're excited about the prospect. I've checked out some of the makeovers on this site and WOW!! I hope we can do justice to our trailer when we start repairing. Any tips on what to look for first? I know it needs a new floor and and interior "re-do", but I'm not sure what to check for before finalizing the purchase.

Welcome, Congrat's on your future purchase.

Don't know that I can advise on what would "finalize" the purchase other than to say perhaps you should use the Buyers Guide (which can be found in the upper right hand box at the top of this page, click on "MORE" then Click on Documents" scroll down to Buyers Guide) to at least give you a idea of what your projects might be.

For me, the first things I would make sure are looked over/repaired would be the Axle, pack the bearings, frame, gas lines, electircal...... Then bring on the make over factor! Again, Welcome! Glad you joined us..................

Thanks Robin G. and Donna D. This checklist is very helpful. Will let you know how things turn out. We think it will be a "go" though. I'll post again after the Labour Day weekend. (Duty calls at work!)
