Good day everyone,
We just bought an 1979
Trillium 4500 from the original owner. He bought it in 1980. It's in good shape and are very much looking forward to camping in it this summer. It needs a little work in order to get it ready to use. When we got it home and started cleaning the inside we discovered a lot of mildew in the original upholstery. We have decided to replace the upholstery and the plywood storage hatch covers in order to remove all the mildew from the trailer.
The advice we are seeking is regarding cleaning the
Trillium wall covering. The wall covering is a soft white foam type product. There are many spots in the covering that ether looks like mildew or the adhesive slightly bleeding through from behind. Plain soap and water hasn't removed the spots. Is there anything anyone can suggest?
We also thought we would rebuild the plywood storage hatch covers in 1/2" thick Cedar for moisture and mildew resistance.
