Aloha Fiberglass RV!!!

Aloha,

I'm Miles. My wife and I are in our mid 20's and living on Maui. We love to camp, surf, hike, and are in the restaurant & bar industry. For the past few years I have been wanting to create my own business of converting a VW bus into a craft beer bus / bar for weddings and special events until I recently stumbled upon these "Egg" trailers. Once I saw the Perris Pacer I knew that is exactly what I wanted. It is seriously perfect! 1st, I can create my dream craft beer trailer. 2nd and arguably more important, trailers in Hawaii are not legal this would be my excuse to sneak one in and own one of these amazing little trailers for camping. I am super excited to find this online community. Looking forward to this fun adventure! Let me know if there is any of these puppies that pop up!

Thanks!!

Aloha! There are classifieds at this website, also some people utilize Craigslist, but with much caveat emptor, as fraudulent postings and scammers abound. My understanding is that fiberglass rvs hold their value much better than conventional campers, so a low price is often the first sig of a budding scam. Hope you find what you're looking for!

Aloha, Miles!

The largest site for molded fiberglass listings is at Molded Fiberglass Travel Trailers For Sale | Fiberglass RV's For Sale. It collects and reposts Craigslist and eBay listings from across North America, with a few direct listings mixed in. Their software is pretty good at filtering scams. There is a delay of 12-24 hours after the source listing first appears, though, so some of the best are already claimed by the time they show up.

It's not going to be easy doing this long distance. We're talking about vintage 30-40 year old trailers, so a careful pre-purchase inspection is important. The best deals often sell in minutes or hours, not days.

One other vintage model to check into is a Lil Bigfoot 13'. It has a similar oversized curbside window as the Perris Pacer- I assume that's why you latched onto that particular model.

If used doesn't work out, you can also check out the Happier Camper HC1. Based in Los Angeles, they make a retro-style 13' egg trailer and recently introduced a commercial vendor version of the trailer. Their patented modular interior would be easy to reconfigure for different uses.

Here is another one that makes a commercial version. Sounds right up your alley: https://dub-box-usa.com/

You can find pix of a commercial Dub-box camper that was made here: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1Q...RaR2JkQzVqVkpn
