Another new Scamp owner.

Hello. I just purchased a 1976 13' Scamp in rough condition. This will be my 5th vintage camper project. Besides the Scamp, I have an Aristocrat Lil Loafer and an Appleby tent camper. I am also a member of the Tin Can Tourists.

Welcome, Dick,
You must be a real pro by now. There are lots of Scampers here if you need anything.

I just can't stand to see these campers deteriorate.

Hi, Dick, Welcome to the group.

Sounds like you have just the right skill set to help that little Scamp shine!

I'm also a member of TCT, and have attended several of their Michigan rallies in my fiberglass Uhaul.

Welcome to FGRV, Dick. Hope you will post some "before" pictures and document your restoration work!

When you're all done, I'd love to hear some comparative thoughts on the three projects.

What size ball hutch in the appleby pop up? Going to go look at what I think may be a 1980 here in Newfoundland Canada today . Up till last year had a Boler 1978 - think it had a 2 inch or 1 7/8 ball . Cannot fund google info if ball size might be the same on Appleby or not . Help?
