Hi all
Just noticed when posting a question it was my first post so I figured it was a good time to do an intro.
While I've been a member since exactly a year ago I just retired and am now seriously looking into a trailer to replace my current hybrid Starcraft. The hybrid has a 16' x 7'6" box, not including the bed, so we're used to and prefer something small for both towing ease and to fit where we want to go, state and federal parks. Starting next year we'll be doing more long distance travels from New England to the west, have reservations in Aug/Sept for Yellowstone and Custer. Being as how we'll be on the road with many one night stops it's time to get a travel trailer although we hate to give up the openness of the hybrid. We're currently planning to use the 6 week 5000 mile trip to decide exactly what we want in our next trailer and will buy or order such at that time, at least that's the plan.
I noticed the new 21'er at
Escape and really like it, I also like the as yet to be built 5er for the north south bed. I tow with an F150 Ecoboost HD so
weight and power are not issues. While researching both and awaiting a chance to see the 21'er I remembered the Bigfoots which have a 21'er too, hence my first post elsewhere in the forums. Being 6'2" a full size queen is an important item and limits what we have for options.
