That's a new one on me. Is it POSSIBLE its actually a truck camper that's been attached to a frame? I can't really tell from the pictures, but if that wheel well is as big as it looks, it's appears it would fit around the wheel well hump in a truck bed.

Greg you have far too much trust in my abilities. Hopefully someone else will chime in. Wonder if it's a fiberglass cargo trailer? Sharon, is there anything on the inside that would let you believe it came from a molded RV trailer manufacturer?

Not sure if it's FG. I wonder if it could be molded out of that Royalex stuff, like the Royalite trailer? I'm looking at the texture and stuff on the inside ceiling and it makes me wonder.
Looks like maybe double doors on the back. Perhaps it started life intended as a cargo trailer and someone built up the inside for camping.

Maybe it's the only one of it's kind, How cool would it be to have the only one of something?

Sharon, if you like it, it fits your budget, and your needs... buy it. Absolutely nothing wrong in my book being one-of-a-kind. All the appliances, windows etc. are available from manufacturers other than the trailer manufacturers.... that's where they get them... elsewhere!
Let us know how it goes.

I see an unmounted tire leaning against the side of the unit, covering a lot of area that could reveal some clues. I, like Donna, believe it may have a truck camper history, because of the ledges running the length of both sides of the interior without visible cabinet doors below them. I wonder if that "jack-knife" sofa is original... which I doubt.
Southern California has a history many small independent fiberglass fabricators, who only need different molds to switch from hot-tubs to campers...

The window across the front too and at that level reminds me of the window in truck campers.... and the one in the canopy of my current rig..... narrow and long. In this case it looks like two windows. And, they look like sliders, so anyone in the back could talk to someone in the drivers/passenger seat of the truck.
