B 19 front window cover shocks

Greetings to all! It has been a while since I was on the site.

I am looking for anyone who can tell me the length and strength of the gas shocks for the fiberglass window cover.

I am in the process of redoing the whole unit (Yes, will post pics as they are done.)

The window had threaded square aluminum tubing but they are pooched.

I had a friend who had a BF and the cover had two gas shocks that opened the window, I am looking to recreate the original factory look with the gas struts.

Problem is I cannot find the length or strength of the struts, if anyone out there has them I would appreciate the placement and measurements of them.

I contacted Bigfoot but they were unable to assist me.

I await your collective wisdom...

Until then, stay safe, stay calm and be nice

Regards, Gerry in lockdownville (covid....still!)

bigfoot cover struts

The part number on my strut is:
GSNI-3500-20

That I may be a one. I ordered mine from Amazon a couple of years age, and found that they were a truck lid strut for a Fiat, or something like that.

Hope this helps.
