Blackout EZ RV Window Covers

Hi, I just bought a 1975 Boler and am wondering about these

for ALL the windows. Has anyone tried them? If so, what do you think? In addition, what sizes did you order for each window (including corner radius size)?

Thanks in advance!

Blackout EZ Rv Window Covers

Hello and congrats on your new to you Boler. Is it a 13’ or 17’? We don’t have any experience with these blackout window covers but they look interesting.

We had a 17’ Boler and are thinking that it may make your trailer feel even smaller and of course darker, but that may be what you are looking for. Anyway, we had white curtains all around for privacy and light but did not feel a need for blackout curtains. A suggestion would be to spend time in your trailer as is both in the day and at night. At night, with no lights on and then lights on and dark outside, it should give you an idea of just how dark it will be be and if that is what you are wanting. Will be interesting to hear how you like the blackout covers if you decide to go that route.

Enjoy 😎!

I wonder how well the hook-and-loop tape will stick to the window surround with temperature swings, humidity and condensation... If you have a clamp ring, perhaps you could remove some of the screws and run them through the tape.

I like that you can remove them completely during the day for light, ventilation, and views, unlike blackout curtains, which tend to partially block the windows. My wife likes to sleep past sunrise on vacay, so she would love something like this. We tried blackout curtains, but it made the trailer too dark during the day, so we usually just hang towels behind the curtains on the sunny side. Effective but ghetto.

For heat and sun, it's actually more effective to have them on the outside, white or reflective surface, of course. That would probably require snaps. Hmmm...

If you decide to try them, please post a review.

Why not just make or have a seamstress make you some lined curtains.

With the thicker mattress in a Scamp and the lack of drapes staying in place it might help some passerby from seeing the moon rising.
