We are retired, snow birding in the south, but keeping our house in upstate NY. We like having a home base. Nice to get back to normal living after 3+ months in a small trailer. We will then frequently camp in the northeast until heading south when cold weather returns.

I think we'll eventually re buy in upstate. Our house now is too big and too expensive. We're from Adirondacks and love those summers. Beaches and warmth are calling to me -- especially after the weather the last few weeks!

[QUOTE=global2edg;436750] Beaches and warmth are calling to me

Same with us. We're at the beach in southern Georgia but a couple cold fronts have kept it cooler than we like. Still beats cold and snow at home just south of Albany. We did spend a couple weeks in November in Florida, but our present location is mostly snowbirds, and a monthly rate we are OK with. We've camped in a few Adirondak state parks, early june at Fish Creek Pond for a teardrop event every year.

Have moved to a small house.
Big house getting ready to go on the market.
Just waiting for spring so we can get Campster out of hibernation.
So ready!
