cracked roof

Hi My Names Carol. Iam looking to buy a Lavante Graziela 1966 fibreglass caravan/trailer. All seems sound apart from the pop up roof which appears to actually have a piece broken off. can this be fixed or would i need to completely replace the roof. Iam very new to this although my brother who has renovated a vintage trailer and cars will be helping me but both new to fibreglass. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Anything fiberglass can be repaired, Carol. Some repairs are more involved is all.

BTW, welcome to the forum.

If this is it, it looks to be a very nice camper. Since the roof is removable it makes it easier to repair.

That is a SWEET camper. Well worth fixing. I would love to see pictures of the damage.

Let's put it THIS WAY...

...if YOU don't want to buy it, I will!!
Cute little baby...I'll have to get a special hitch made and get the trailer painted lemon-yellow and white to match my Vespa 150. If the Vespa can go 70mph on the Freeway, it can tow that little baby girl!

Thanks for the replys. Owners going to send me some clearer pictures so will post when I have them. He's told me it's a lipping type system I'll need not a whole roof. It really is very sweet. I want to tow it on my fiat 500

Carol, you're trying to attach pictures from inside your AOL account. You need to save them first, individually, on your computer, then upload them here.

Cute little baby
It might be across the big pond from many of us, Carol has her location listed as middx.
Middlesex - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Middlesex (/ˈmɪdəlsɛks/, abbreviation: Middx) is a historic county in southeast England, that is for administrative purposes part of Greater London, with sections in Berkshire, Hertfordshire and Surrey."

It is interesting to note that from the pictures in the link that Eddie posted the door is on the same side as the trailers over here. Opposite of many of the trailers I've seen over there.

The Caravan is Italian I think. I also think they they drive on the same side of the road as us. Here is a to a really good picture gallery of the trailer.
